From the sandy hills of Roero in Piedmont this underrated Nebbiolo has a lot of flesh on its frame - there's much to love about this riper vintage. Heady notes of licorice, allspice, black cherries and fresh earth lead into a generous meaty core. It's a beautiful red brimming with fruit and structure, and will fit right in on the Christmas table. If it's a warm day then chill it in the fridge for half an hour before serving.
