From Zuidam distillery comes this Millstone Oloroso Sherry, kind of a younger and cheaper version of their 12 Years Oloroso. For this whisky they were using smaller 250l casks, re-composed from larger sherry butts. Full, sweet and juicy, red fruits jam, old wood and an earthy layer which makes this kind of dirty (in a good way). FINISH Long and heavy, with raisins, dark infused wood, dark spices, chocolate and walnuts.
