About the event

Four winemakers will be joining us at Barrels and Stills for a night of fantastic wines. Great opportunity for you to taste with the winemakers and talk all things wine.

Lethbridge

Maree Collis and Ray Nadeson are not your average winemaker/owners of a boutique winery. Both were initially trained as research scientists and hold PhD degrees in chemistry and medicine, respectively. Mid career they made the decision to pursue their alternate passion and together with friend Adrian Thomas established Lethbridge Wines in 1996.

Spinifex

Peter Schell and Magali Gely established Spinifex Wines in 2001, they have had a home in the Barossa Valley for over twenty years and hold a strong commitment to and passion for the Barossa. They also have a strong French connection, both physically and philosophically.

Toolangi

Located in the northern Yarra Valley region of Dixons Creek. Sheltered by the Toolangi state forest on one side, the vines are positioned on undulating slopes and the block design follows the natural curve of the land. Planted in 1995, with additional plantings in 2001, the site produces premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Shiraz. Toolangi Vineyard operates on the principles of sustainable and holistic viticulture so the wines capture the spirit of this special vineyard and reflect each season.

Bryne Farm

Located in Nashdale, a 10 minute drive out of Orange, on the Northern slope of Mt Canobolas, an extinct volcano with rich chocolate/red ferrosol soils at approximately 900m altitude. Producing wines which express the high altitude, cool climate characteristics that are unique to the region of Orange.
