Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Barrell Craft Spirits is an independent blending house known for inventive whiskey blends and barrel finishes. Its approach brings together carefully sourced spirits, using blending and maturation to explore distinctive flavours while preserving the character of each component.
Vantage combines straight bourbons finished separately in Mizunara, French and toasted American oak casks before blending and bottling at cask strength. Crème brûlée, coconut and chocolate aromas mingle with nutmeg, warm spice and hints of grilled pineapple. The palate is rich and generously textured, bringing espresso and maple sweetness together with oak spice. Plum, grape and crystallised ginger emerge on the finish, adding fruit and freshness to the layered oak character.
