The Dark is a seventeen-year-old single malt, matured exclusively in first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak casks and bottled at 52.9%. Seventeen years of maturation develop a layered profile of dried fruit, cinnamon and toasted almonds, alongside fruitcake, cedar and gentle peat smoke. The palate combines rich sherry sweetness with nutty depth and oak spice, leading to a lingering finish of dried fruit and soft smoke.
